A CAT ON A WATERWELL
Meow said the cat
I think I'll take a nap
The big lid covering the old water well
Seemed to be the aim
When he hopped, there was a hollow sound
That echoed from deep down
He sat for a while listening, and fell asleep
Surely his favorite routine
Suddenly! a loud knock came from under
That disturbed the sleeper:
Cat I need your help the well screamed
Got no water here, I have been cursed
Let go of that knock
Screamed the cat
Can’t you see water well?
I am trying to sleep he yelled
With his paw…in a dainty manner
Snapped the well with anger.
I am an old water well that is bored to death
I just want to pick on your brain, silly cat
Open the big lid and see for yourself
there was a pause
Alright water well I will take a peek
I am not that cruel, I know a little winged fairy
That might cast you a loving spell to send you some rain
Hollowly the well replied I promise I'll be quiet

A while later; the cat was stretching on top
Of the old water well, he sat down
Looked around when he realized
It was just a dream.
